Does online learning provide many benefits, or is it the other way around? In this day and age where technology is developing very rapidly and making a significant influence such as online media or multimedia-based media, which is one solution so that students can understand the subject matter well, This is in line with the results of Ibrahim and Suardiman's (2014) research, which showed a positive effect of the use of e-learning on student motivation and achievement in an elementary school in Yogyakarta. Online learning using online media has been implemented in a high school in Wajo since the implementation of work from home on March 16, 2020, during the CO-19 pandemic (Mustakim, 2020). There are many benefits that we can get when doing online learning.

However, does online learning have no drawbacks? Of course, the use of technology still has many drawbacks, namely that there are still many students who do not have smartphones for online learning, and schools cannot provide these facilities for students with low economic conditions. This resulted in students not being able to take part in the online learning process (Fenda, L. et al., 2021). This resulted in students not receiving a full education. 

The role of learning media in the learning and teaching process is an integral part of the world of education (Batubara & Batubara, 2020). Learning media is a tool or instrument that promotes the effectiveness and efficiency of learning activities, especially when students are required to study from home during the viral pandemic. corona (COVID-19) (Coal & Coal, 2020). These conditions make us think of providing efficient learning media, one of which is online media.

First, using online learning media makes time and place more efficiently used, because we don't need to come to the place to start learning. In addition, there are many options that can make it easier for us to do online learning, such as easily finding material, having lots of media that we can use, and doing it anywhere.

Therefore, online learning is very useful, regardless of the many shortcomings in it, and we can evaluate it so that online learning can be better. It is hoped that online learning can help students learn more and make learning easier and more enjoyable. so that the material presented can be easily understood by students.
