Old-school film genres vs modern film genres

The old movies had a purpose, and it's such a wonderful time that you couldn't put those limits in place. These movies were made with a message, a meaning, and most importantly an audience. The films released today have matured, but they have lost the basic elements that make them up. In classic movies, stories are told in chronological order. There is also cause and effect logic that moves the viewer from one scene to the next. The film begins with the introduction of the characters, one event leading to another, until a conflict arises. The characters work to overcome this conflict until they finally find a solution. While classic musicals use musical numbers to showcase artists, current musicals rely on musical numbers to advance the plot.

Movies were made to last (a lot, you name it), but now, with the exception of a few, I hardly ever remember a movie with a message. Instead, it has become a marketing agency to make money through decoration.Today's films are more focused on the international market and overseas distribution. Now I can show what was considered taboo. So people today are more aware. It is more likely that the overall budget has increased. Today movies are well done from sound to picture. Actors who appeared in older films were stage actors early in their careers. They have proven their acting in stage plays to feature films (movies). In a stage play, you must act more than naturally (without exaggerating) to convey the intensity of the scene, and speak loudly and clearly to be heard by the audience. They continued it in the cinema. They didn't even study at acting school. As such, you can find many actors in older movies acting more than their scenes and situations require. However, in modern cinema, many natural actors came to cinema without acting in stage plays, but learned from acting schools (not all). Actors such as , have shown natural acting in recent movies.

These are the main differences that can be explicitly named. But perhaps a lot hasn't changed in decades. Like the actor's addiction, the obligatory song, poignant lines, and clichéd love scene between the lead and lead in the second half of the film.
