The effect of greenhouses on global warming

Do you know how big the greenhouse effect is on global warming? The greenhouse effect is defined as an increase in the earth's temperature. Rising earth temperatures are caused by the trapping of long-wave sunlight (infrared) by greenhouse gases. (GHG), which is in the troposphere, which is the layer of the atmosphere that is on the surface of the earth up to a radius of 10 km into space. Rising temperatures can cause global warming (Riza p. 2019). Naturally, sunlight (short waves of radiation) that touches the surface of the earth will turn it hot and warm it. Some of this heat will be reflected back by the earth's surface to outer space as long-wave infrared radiation. Some of the sun's heat will be reflected and some will be absorbed by the gases in the atmosphere that adapt to the earth (called greenhouse gases such as water vapor, carbon dioxide (CO2), and methane) so that the heat rays are trapped in the atmosphere.

The greenhouse effect is a major factor in keeping Earth warm because it traps some of the planet's heat that must escape from the atmosphere into space. If the heat maintained on earth is excessive, then bad things will happen, namely global warming. Many factors cause the greenhouse effect, which exacerbates global warming.

Some human activities, such as the production and consumption of fossil fuels, the use of various agricultural chemicals, bush burning, waste from combustion processes, and other industrial activities, have increased the concentration of greenhouse gases (GHG), especially CO2, CH4, and N2O in the atmosphere, making it dangerous. This increase in atmospheric GHG concentrations has caused climate change and the global warming effect, which motivates international efforts like the Kyoto Protocol, the signing of the Paris Agreement on climate change, and other initiatives to control the negative results of the greenhouse effect.

The contribution of greenhouse gases to global warming is generally expressed by their global warming potential (GWP), which allows a global comparison of the effects of a heating gas and a reference gas, usually carbon dioxide (Williams, k., etc., 2018). This causes the air on earth to get dirtier and increase in The sea level is getting higher, so the land on earth is decreasing. This is the magnitude of the influence of the greenhouse effect on global warming.
